Roblox purchases can involve real money, Robux, gift cards, subscriptions and third-party payment processors. Refund eligibility depends on what was purchased, the payment method and whether the transaction was authorized.
As a general rule, Roblox treats Robux and most virtual-content transactions as final. However, limited exceptions may apply to certain local-currency purchases, unauthorized charges and rights provided by local consumer-protection laws.

Can Direct Robux Purchases Be Refunded?
Roblox’s Terms of Use state that payments for Robux are final and non-refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Changing your mind, purchasing too many Robux or selecting the wrong package does not normally qualify for a refund.

Can Avatar Items and Game Passes Be Refunded?
Robux spent on avatar clothing, accessories, game passes and in-experience items is generally not returned. This also applies to accidental purchases and items that are later unused, lost or deleted by the player.

Which Paid Access Purchases Can Be Refunded?
A clear exception applies to certain experiences purchased with real-world local currency. Roblox allows users to request a refund within 48 hours of their first Paid Access purchase for that experience.
Open the experience page and select Request Refund on web, desktop or mobile. If you purchase access to the same experience again, the later purchase cannot normally be refunded.

Are Roblox Subscriptions Refundable?
Roblox Plus and subscriptions sold inside experiences are generally non-refundable. Cancelling stops future automatic billing but does not return the payment for the current billing cycle. Benefits typically remain active until the paid period ends.
To prevent another charge, visit Settings > Subscriptions, open the relevant plan and select Cancel Renewal. Roblox advises cancelling an in-experience subscription at least 24 hours before its renewal date.
Are Roblox Gift Cards Refundable?
Roblox does not normally provide refunds for gift cards. Redeemed Roblox Credit also has no cash value and generally cannot be transferred, reloaded or exchanged for cash, except where required by law.
Keep the receipt and confirm the correct Roblox account before entering the card’s PIN. If a newly purchased card is damaged or does not work, contact the retailer or Roblox Gift Card support with proof of purchase.
What About Removed or Moderated Items?
An item being removed from the Marketplace does not automatically guarantee a refund. Roblox’s terms state that it is not generally required to refund Robux or money spent on suspended or removed content, except where legally required.
Any credit Roblox chooses to provide may appear automatically in the account, but users should not assume every deleted item will receive compensation.
How to Report an Unauthorized Charge
If a transaction appears on your bank statement without permission, contact Roblox Support immediately. Provide:
- Roblox username
- Transaction date and amount
- Payment method
- Billing name
- Order number or purchase receipt
- Explanation of why the payment was unauthorized
Apple, Microsoft, PlayStation, Amazon, Samsung and other providers may require refund requests to be submitted through their own billing-support systems.
